Jonathan Belgarde Poem
"Where are you he asked"
In my head I said
He got angry
Cause he couldn’t get there
Told him no one could
The bridge was burned
In a fire in 04
A bad winter, you know
He didn’t get it
"You’re backwards in things you say"
But you know what I mean
When I say them
Now don’t get so wounded
It’s just a character evaluation
The way he fidgets
Gives me the church giggles
And that boy gets so mad
I don’t care
Wonder how red he’ll get
When I get up to
Leave
He won’t see
He’s looking over his shoulder at another boy
Another to chase after
"Where are you he asked"
In my head I said
Now don’t get so wounded
It’s just a character evaluation
And that boy gets so mad

Jonathan Belgarde Poem
Don’t make promises
It’s easier for you
No verbal dotted line
Come and go as you please
Can’t say a single word
Have no grounds too
You’re so smart, so very smart
But with it
So emotionless
No wonder we float
Like we do- detached
Away we move
Till moments of gravity
Slam us back together
We try very hard to form into one
But us
Stubborn like rocks
We start to crumble
After all this
It becomes harder
To find what we were
Very different from before
No familiar pieces
Only familiar faces
