I Wonder

Sometimes I wonder were you are; were you might be.
I wonder if it is possible for you to still think about me.
I wonder if you'll love me forever, like we promised to; or if that all faded the day I lost you.
I wonder if I'll ever see you again, my husband, lover and best friend.
I wonder alot of things; but most of all, I wonder why you; why you at all.

Lefft Behind

Sometimes I feel left out, pushed out the way;
Pushed just enough for me to loss you and be able to say;
How unfair, how terriable this must be;
I'm left behind with two children to raise; but there's no you and me.
I'll do my best on my own and try to do it right;
I won't make any promisses without you right by my side.

End of Days

I see the coming troubles, of the day to come;
I wonder to myself; what have we done.
The world as beautiful as it is; we have managed to destroy.
Bringing it closer to its end; cause of arrogance and self-ploy;
There are alot of things changing; no experts can truly explain.
I just hope the end is not as near as everyone proclaims.

Just Wishing

I just wish I could understand everything;
I wish I knew just what to do;
I wish I knew how to deal;
I wish I knew how to feel;
Out of all these wishes; I wish only one wish to come true.
I'll always wish you could have stayed and that I could have kept you.

To Know

It hurts to know our love; is in the past.
It hurts to know our kids; won't remember their dad.
What a burden to bear; what a cross to carry;
and everyday knowing our kids won't know their daddy.

No Title

Can anyone tell me how; when grave tragedy happens?
How to explain to a three year old; that her daddy is never coming back.
All the great times; that we always had together are over.
How do you tell your baby; that memory's is all she has.
That there is no restart, we can't pick up where we left off; it's just over.
I can't leave out my precious little boy; whom at the time was one month old; when his dad
died. It is sad, that he will never know the wonderful man, that was his father.
I know this is more of a diary entry, than a poem.
I felt like I needed to put something out there for people to know; there is hurt but there is
hope. I'm a young, widowed mother of two and it's been very hard.
Somehow though, we are overcoming our hardships.
It was hard to let go but for the love of my children I have done so.

Troubled

Sands of time under my feet;
guide me through week to week.
Worries I try to put behind, chase me through my drowning mind.
These troubles never seem to pass;
but maybe one day;my troubles will be gone at last.

The Fight

Keeping the faith; what does that mean;
Toughin it out; trying to do the right thing.
How I wish I knew how to deal; problems are compounding; I don't know what is real.
Issues upon issues in everyone's life, so little time and so much strife.
I wake in the morning with tears in my eyes, because you can't change people and you can't
change life.
I'm screaming and fighting trying to get out, but then I realize there's no way out.
Life is what you make of it; (is that what they say;)where there full of it, because life's a fight
everyday.

Forward and Back

A step forward, could it be a step back;
sometimes it seems like every step you take; does'nt go forward or back.
Sometimes, I feel froze in a position incomplete;
A position of nothing, no life without a beat.

Why

Do you ever just stare at the sky; hoping for an answer to the question why.
Why - do bad things happen;
Why - do some people go bad;
Why - do you have to make bad decisions, that make other people sad.
That's the way of the world, with it's twist and turns.
All anyone can do is try, but still; there will always be the question why?
