Ignite the Flame

Stone is crushed,
Turned to powder,
Pierce the mind,
As the silence grows louder.
Devastation has begun.
All is lost, never see the sun.
Reach deep within, expose your pain.
Release the tears that still remain.
Without a clue connection ended.
To pieces shattered, never mended.
Wind it back to be the same.
Destroy the dark, ignite the flame.

I Am God, I Am Everywhere

Accept or reject the Son; but from Me you can't hide.
It is Me that your soul needs to have on its side.
Santa is not who sees you when you’re sleeping.
For it is only I, not he, that does the record keeping.

I, in your darkest hour, will always light the way.
I will always be faithful, so from Me do not stray.
I am the only One that always has time for all.
I will faithfully pick you up every time you fall.

I am all knowing, all powerful and always present.
It was to be judged for your sins, that my Son, I sent.
This could only have been possible, by the Creator of all.
I already knew in eternity past, of Adam and his fall.

I am One and yet I am three, for I am also the Trinity.
I am the Father, the Son and the Spirit; I am Divinity.
For before there was you, there has always been Me.
I am the Creator, the Maker that brought you to be.

I’m the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end.
Knowledge of Me is in the Bible that I had penned.
Follow only Me, for I have much, with you, to share.
I am God, so be it known to all, I am everywhere.

My Blue Eyed Angel

The moment I gazed
Into your brilliant blue eyes
The sky's black curtain lifted
And my days of darkness fled
With your birth, my spirit grew wings
Laughter once again sang in my heart
And my love remembered how to fly

My Favorite Time of Year

My favorite Time of Year...
Easter, the reason should be clear.
For what it originally did represent,
Candy & bunnies was not the intent.

Easter, a reminder of His resurrection;
Occurring three days after His crucifixion.
He was sacrificed, judged for all our sins;
Which is where salvation for all begins.

He was sent to be judged, He is our Savior;
Never sinned, but was judged in our favor.
He so loved the world, He gave His Son;
Believe in Him, for the work has been done.

The Marriage of Three

The bond of marriage
A commitment for life
Said to be shared by two
The husband and the wife

My marriage is different
As it is bonded by three
All were present on that day
And were married legally

There are not two husbands
Nor is there another wife
We share a love for one other
Whom we committed to for life

We don’t turn the heads of others
When we walk together in town
Not once in this marriage of three
Were we looked upon with a frown

Marriage always takes more than two
Though not everyone would agree
Our marriage is shared with the Lord
We are bonded not by two, but by three

At the Stroke of Midnight

slowly she
reaches into
the depths of
her dying soul
grasping...
at the core
of her pain
that has been
etched into
her heart
for ages

Burning
yet soothing
Its grip is
loosening...
As it finally
succumbs
to her will

comfort washes
over her
as sadness
begins to fade

as glimpses
of her past
flash
through
her tired mind
warm
shadows dance
around her
carrying her
toward
the
peaceful
light

one
single tear
settles
on her cheek
as she takes
her last
breath
at the
stroke of
midnight

God's Return

There is a day that will come,
Known as God’s Return.
A day that to all unbelievers,
Should be of utmost concern.

This is a day that will be
Celebrated by His Believers.
But one of unchangeable doom,
For all the unbelievers.

The saved will ascend to Heaven,
On the great day of His Return.
Those that rejected the Son; their
souls for all eternity, in hades will burn.

I Believe In Fairy Tales

Riding on the backs of giant snails
Ships with cotton candy sails
Iridescent castles, bubble blown
Mountains made of chocolate scones
Pigs that fly upside down in the sky
The moon at night made of cream pie
Riding through the sky on dragon tails
Sunbathing on the backs of whales
I believe in all these things
Even the lullabies a unicorn sings

Spirituality Vs Materialism

God has so many wonderful blessings in store,
for those that progress in their spiritual life.
But all too many will be blinded by materialism.
Worldly goods offer us nothing more than strife.

$800,000 houses, we have to be just like the Jones’.
$50,000 cars, each finger displays diamonds galore.
Hair, nails & toes must be done each and every week.
“Oh-no!! I think I missed a great sale in that store!!”

God has no problem with us having certain things,
unless those things have taken precedence over Him.
He has much greater things waiting to bless us with,
but many will stay blinded by obsessive materialism.

God must be the foundation for spirituality’s growth.
Keeping Him first, all else begins to fall into place.
Materialism, worldly goods, become less important.
As you focus on Him, you will understand His grace.
