Spirituality Vs Materialism

God has so many wonderful blessings in store, for those that progress in their spiritual life. But all too many will be blinded by materialism. Worldly goods offer us nothing more than strife. $800,000 houses, we have to be just like the Jones’. $50,000 cars, each finger displays diamonds galore. Hair, nails & toes must be done each and every week. “Oh-no!! I think I missed a great sale in that store!!” God has no problem with us having certain things, unless those things have taken precedence over Him. He has much greater things waiting to bless us with, but many will stay blinded by obsessive materialism. God must be the foundation for spirituality’s growth. Keeping Him first, all else begins to fall into place. Materialism, worldly goods, become less important. As you focus on Him, you will understand His grace.
