First-Generation Student

As an evanescent quietness falls into my room
While a stream of breeze air invades the living room,
A new, unborn poem waves in my blurred thought,
Endeavoring to keep me from being distraught.

I’m desperate; I deserve even a better cabin.
Thus, my mind is abiding a religious doctrine
In the purpose of enriching my knowledge
By meeting standards to get enrolled in college.

Inspiration is sometimes a key to survive.
Joel Osteen, you keep my lost dream alive.
But, the cryptic concept of life is the absurd.
Will my celestial request remain unanswered?

To avoid failure and exhibit one’s braveness,
To gain success and the pursuit of happiness,
Virtuosity must be laid open rather than latent
For a high-achieving, first-generation student.

Your Eyes

As we were admiring the color of love last night,
Appeasing our thirst like two cats in a fight,
Your eyes were as shiny as the sparkled stars.
They were as admirable as the lights of the bars.

As I was starring at them with no ambiguity
Fears, lies and evasions surround their clarity.
But the reflection of love in them retains me
From trying to quit being sentimentally a softie.

Like the seven wonders of the world,
They fascinate me with their eyelashes so well curled.
Just Like the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris,
I can observe their allure all the way from Ferris.

They rhyme the harmonic melody of my heartbeat
Because their beauty is so stainless and so neat.
Your seductive eyes is my favorite site of tourism.
They shape my emotion and imagination by Romanticism.

Because of January 17th God makes me see,
Their color should reflect the beauty of the sea
Because another page of my life is just turn over
I can only hope they remain part of me forever.

Moral Philosophy

From the Freedom Tower located nearby,
To the sparkling stars beneath the sky,
A new, moral philosophy rises,
Intricate to be envisioned at naked eyes.

I just hope that you already had a clue.
No matter the aspect of life you get into,
Unless, of course, money has no value,
The truth is believed not to be fully true.

Indeed, justice should be evenly distributed.
Like the Citadelle Laferriere, it is exploited.
It is as famous as the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
But, its survivors remain wealthy and callous.

Sophisticated Weapons are conveying humanity.
Day and night have a common affinity,
Strenuous activities require almost no sleep
Which is apparently no longer in need.

To be elected to preserve the future of a nation,
A man is struggling to prove himself an asset.
However, as his dream reached its destination,
He ignores that his promises were a huge debt!

Moral Philosophy (Suite)

From the edge of WTC
The world can now see
For the first time in history
I believe in God’s prophecy.

The pursuit of Happiness is my goal
My emotion is something I can’t control
Success is what I’m seeking for at school
But obstacles make me feel so uncool.

No one really takes a moment
To welcome the time of the judgment
No one really knows, hereby
The philosophy we live by.

Despite all, God is watching over us
In this darkness, we have to be cautious.
This worldwide crisis won’t last long,
If faith and hope are quite far along.

In Quest of Love

I slide along the edge of the stream,
Crossing the narrow road leading to it,
Search in the depth of the fussed ocean,
To find the portion reserved for me.

I wander throughout the space,
Tracking the silvery, sparkled stars;
Conspicuously, I've been so exhausted,
My naive heart chose not to surrender!

I interrogate the reflective could,
It points me to the house of obscurity,
I hasten to go to the peaceful spot,
There was not even the shadow of it!

I had even walked out of boundaries,
To know whether which direction it took,
I crapped out an fell on the wrong road.
I, however, was hopeful and undismayed!

Lastly, a quiescent mind appealing me,
Thus, my heart plunges under the ocean,
To strike out the accuracy of the true love,
Meanwhile, I still hope that it will discern it!

Deep Regrets

As the temperature was still ordinary,
The regional wind blows away my mind,
The roses beside my grandma's house,
Bend over the comfortable, breeze air.

Nothing seems so painful for me before,
After noticing there wasn't even a mirage
To appease my dire thirst of your love.
You were born to satisfy my faithful soul.

But, now a soulless body I am.
Without you around my patient arm
Is analogous to be killed imperceptibly.
The more i think, the more I'm falling!

I saw the brilliant sun rising at night,
The moon and the sparkled stars at the day.
The daytime turned out to be the night-time.
My world just turned upside down now.

You can take everything away from me,
Deep regrets might be all remained after.
But know that you cannot run away
With as much love as I got for you!

The Content of My Character

A dream is all I have,
Please God, don’t let it go unrealizable,
Don’t let me surrender the struggle.

Intelligence is the goal of my mind,
Help me penetrate the human nature,
The land that is yet to be explored.

Character is the goal of my integrity,
I don’t want to be part of impartiality,
Nor do I want to be devoid of wisdom.

Judge me not by what you see outside,
But by what you you fail to notice inside,
My personality, the content of my character.

Unusual

Unusual,
Is what you can call
A world you haven’t seen before.

Unusual,
Is what you can call
A basketball player with a football.

Unusual,
Is when you can’t see,
A fish should live IN and ONLY in the sea!

Heading For College

Enthusiasm rises from the conceits of my imagination,
I lament so many drops of happiness
As I realize a new life is about to begin.

Even yet, There is no sign of survival
I still can’t stop foreshadowing my future
The month of May is approaching imperceptibly.

Like the stream flowing in the channel,
My eyes burst into the tears of Joy
Despite, my destination is still garbled.

Even though the burden is oppressively heavy,
I can still feel the celestial grace descending,
As I perceive I’m about to head for college.

Deprived of Love

I am deprived of your true love.
I inhabit any other planet than Earth.
I’m suffocating due to a lack of your love.
I’m losing the gravity to hold down your love.

Deceitfulness is exacerbating the situation.
My world is getting unable to sustain life.
Immediate assistance is the path to survival.
Otherwise, failure will be the result of my quest.

I’m questing for a mirage to appease my thirst.
I’m beseeching my own mind for some clues.
I’m trying to reach even the edge of perfection
To be nominated in the annals of the true love.

Scientifically, the goal of love is faithfulness.
Indeed, I’m trying to formulate a useful theory.
I need to gather evidence to test my hypothesis.
The result should never always be disappointment!
