Ode To His Reality---

With a sigh
She stops
She stares...

In her minds eye
She escapes to another place
Travels to another time

Remembering with a smile...

Never in her wildest dreams
Did she ever imagine
That the dream that is him
Would become a reality

She breathes...

The haze of her dream world slowly fades
Bringing her back to reality
The reality that is him

No longer does she have to imagine
Her dream has come true

One Could Only Hope...

An opportunity is all that I ask
Just to be given the chance
To be the focus in your eyes
Just for a little while
Some nights to be in your arms
Not for the physical
A gentle kiss would do
But for some moments of sanity
Somewhere to hide from the outside world
A world of our own, created by us
A chance to see your soul
So that I may show you mine
Just an opportunity...

Abyss...

Falling, falling
deep
Passion strong,
neverending
Your love,
its glory for me,
like an abyss

You May Not Understand...

You may not understand why I revel in you
You may not understand what I see when I look in your eyes
You may not understand why I feel about you as I do
You may not understand why when I give you sighs

Don't try so hard to figure it all out

Just understand that I love you

It's Like I'M Not Even Here...

Taking time for oneself is an option
An option that we all deserve
Taking time for oneself is desirous
Desirous because of the needed sanity, however,

Don't let that desire for sanity become a crutch
A crutch leaned upon too hard
Hard enough to create enough pressure
Pressure that will surely become a weight

Something of this magnitude
Any magnitude can
Can surely prove to have an effect
This effect is one in regards to those around you

Speaking for how I feel
I feel as though this
This thing called love
Love that was supposed to be true
Was truly nothing more then sand in an hour glass time piece

You crashed then smashed what we had just because
Because it didn't fulfill your materialistic desires
Desires that you felt could be made to come true
Your true desires you allowed someone else to tap into

Now it's all said and done
Done like you seem to be with me
Leaving me with a broken heart
A heart that loved deep and hard

No justifiable explanation given
You gave your posterior instead
Instead of manning up and confronting me head-on
Head-on would've at least allowed me to better understand

In the end, you just chose to walk away
Walk away like I never existed

The Man That You Are...

Dad, Son, Friend, Lover
One man, many sides
Projections of vim, vigor, virility
Are just a few expressions of you

The love you give and the joy you bring
Leave many in awe
You carry the world on your shoulders
Inspire hope, promote faith

What you emanate from within
Shows who you are throughout
