in his mind he makes plans for escape.
escape strategies.
he calculates the hours, studies the minutes.
filled with courage and cowardice.
he does not see that it is already morning.
he doesn't realize that the bars don't exist.
he doesn't feel the wind on his face.
he does not hear the silence of the desert.
