Solar Eclipse

There's something I feel that I still haven't said,
Quotes that haven't straddled my lips.
When poetry wheels don't turn in my head,
Words can cast a solar eclipse.

TO POETS

To poets living and poets to come
Strive not to race the worldly fame
Gather the world in a little frame
The world is wild but you can tame
And if it fell and went apart
You the poets are the ones to blame.

One World

Love is not a color,
No hue, neither a race.
All of our blood is the same,
That runs deep within our veins.

If we could lift up each other,
And know that we all care.
If we help our sisters and brothers,
There's a bond that we'll share.

Rootin' Tootin' Vladimir Putin

Rootin Tootin Vladimir Putin
is by far the worst rat bastard
of The Twenty First Century.
His competitors pale in comparison.
They are rat bastards too,
including the Iranian mullahs
and the Chinese commie leaders;
but compared to Vlad The Rotten Rat
they are little more than mousey meanies.

Short International poem by Honestly JT| Details |

When The Sun Rises

Dear God, when the sun rises,
I can only wish for a better day.
I'm not looking for consolation prizes;
I know life can't go entirely my way.

I just want to love and be loved,
To have hope and a great faith.
Sometimes the choices in life are tough,
After sunrise creates a new day.

Eddy Snowden

Edward Snowden

When Edward Snowden* snowed in,
no one thought it a sin,
save the snooping sultans who froze.
When on the run or cubby-holed, for friends, he had only woes.

Let Us Compose!

Let us compose!

Don't dramatize,

Be always free

And humourize

Our pretty, tender

And shining faces:

It is the International

Happy Poetry Day!

Of all our good

And interesting places,

We would enjoy them,

We are okay,

All our Graces say:

Good luck!

Enjoy these poems

Every day,

Let our children

Play this game!

POETRYSOUPERS - DO WE QUESTION OURSELVES

POETRYSOUPERS - DO WE QUESTION OURSELVES?

This is our time.

Freedom we do have.

Why are we in denial?

We are Soupers.

International

When well our forums speak?

Lets meet up!

Lets structure voice!

Are we afraid to form?

This is our time.

Freedom we do have.

Why are we not renowned?

Nigeria's Kidnapped Girls Outrage

Let me get this straight!

In Nigeria a maniac group of Muslim rat bastards

kidnap over two hundred young girls

and are selling them to sexual perverts

for the equivalent of twelve dollars each

and the whole damn world says: Ho-Hum!

Stop this old spinning planet earth

and let me get the hell off of it.

Its obvious to me that the brain dead morons

among us have taken over the reins of power.

Seven sins of why

Boiled in international broth
soiled by an internal sloth
emphasizing the epiphany
gorged by an internal gluttony
salivating a want to succeed
griped by an internal greed
creative moments of clarity
enveloped by an internal envy
triumph built on trust
lynched by an internal lust
paved to form a new path
wasted by an internal wrath
collective thoughts collide
pilloried by an internal pride

Nepotism's Only Kin Deep

Chip off the old block;
        It runs in the family.
This all needs to stop
        In our meritocracy.

Titles through ages;
        A generations game.
Lordships by bloodline,
        Some things need to change.

Birth wont denote skill;
        It keeps people out.
Mobilitys lost
        When money they flout.

James Caan can shove it,
        And let workers in.
Nobles move over,
        Let our time begin.

Enigmas

Hidden within Precambrian rock
Lies "a tiny mystery"
A veiled secret in the dark
A puzzling piece of history
A radioactive photograph
A polonium halo possibly

Buried in a cryptic curtain
Its secret may elude us
But what's certain
Should we presume to solve this riddle
We'll be hurled back in the middle
Of more dilemmas or enigmas endlessly

Published in the 2012 International Who's Who in Poetry

Go With God

Vaya con Dios!
Go with God!
Vaya con Dios mi amiga!
Go with God my female friend!
Vaya con Dios mi amigo!
Go with God my male friend!
Whoever you are, wherever you are,
get off your electronic gizmos,
get your butt off the sofa and travel somewhere.
The world is a beautiful place.
Most people are decent, friendly human beings.
Enjoy life, not alone, but with other people
and with The Lord of all Creation.
Vaya con Dios!
