Premium Member What Makes Man Go

What’s in man that makes him go

Is it the satisfaction of the craftsman
Or the drive for more dough

Ask the baker ~ He may just know

That same, old kind of line blurs

Where does capital end

and mere terrorism begin

Premium Member Think About this Question

What if the King of the World were accessible
What would you ask Him to do
Would you ask Him for Love, for wealth
for peace on earth, for good health

Would you ask Him to grant you three wishes
as if He were a genie
Would you ask Him to clean up your city
or on filthy scoundrels take pity

What if the King of the World was so close to you
that you could whisper in His ear
Would you give Him some good advice
or just let Him roll the dice

      Think about this question
         and what you might do
For He stands ready and able
         right next to you

Premium Member Goodbye Benjamins

Oh, can you hear that jingle
You can tell it by its smell
Your skin begins to tingle
And you feel like you're in hell

The "Benjamins" just bit you
Got that look of dull surprise
Your shopping list won't fit you
Cuz, everything fits your eyes

When passing by the store
All those bells begin to ring
Then you're thru the open door
And you'll try on anything

It's time for all consumers
To say hello to Barter
Put down those ugly bloomers
Might make you look much smarter

Oh, can't you hear him holler
He's a devil in disguise
But, what good is that dollar
When there's pennies on your eyes

It's goodbye to "Uncle Bens"
I can't say that I'll miss you
I just pray this madness ends
But, most just can't resist you

Bill

Balancing accounts, my most hated chore,
Invoices piling higher than ever before.
Lists of too many charges haunt me today,
Lamenting the weight of each bill to pay.

1. Unfit for public office (psychological)

2. Abuse of power (statement/s of revenge on opponents)

3. Unconstitutional ~ Use of military in domestic police powers (stated claim).

4. Unconstitutional ~ Executive invasion of Judicial Branch Perogatives (Supreme Court ~ "Capture").

    DEFINING AND DEFENDING CIVILIZATION
Form: Haiku

On The Money

To Americans, July 4th
is Independence Day,
with; barbecues, concerts, fireworks,
picnics, parades, patriotic festivities,
(a.k.a., Freedom Day).
Despite the star-spangled banner's,
red, white and blue,
to that of the British Union Jack,
being identical in hue,
flag-waving they're compelled,
or conditioned, so to do.
The U.S. Constitution does define,
'Treason' as... the only crime
consisting of levying war
against them, and/or,
to their enemies adhering,
with comfort and aid
by all means conveyed.
To those in England,
considering, in 1776,
colonists went their own sweet way,
it's the ultimate 'Treason Day'.
And, altho' the U.S. touts
'Separation of Church and State',
yea, verily I say,
is it not hypocritically unjust
of them to print on their money,
'In God We Trust'?

Premium Member There's a Lotto Losers Here

During the COVID lockdown,
"Yours Truly" became "Spend Cast"
All those stimulus checks...Gone!
Now, just figments of the past.

I bought way too many Sox,
I bought way too many Shoes
I bought way too many T-shirts
I think I caught "Consumer Blues!"

Bought a lot of funny Hoodies,
And bought "Six" Damascus Knives!
Bought Boxers by the dozen,
Oh, how would my funds survive?

If I had back all the "Coin"
That I gladly threw away,
Like those G.D. "Lotto Tix"
I'd be a "Wealthy Man" today!

Premium Member The Only Gold I Ever Owned

This dying oak leaf
Between my fingers was
The only gold I ever owned

Not that I can say
It was really mine

Just something
To keep for awhile
While September was
Here with me

That leaf played with me
Running rings around
My wrinkling fingers
For minutes …
That felt like hours

Then, with palms open
I let gold go …
Back to where it belonged
Which was not with me …

AGM

Tomorrow is the day – the day I dread.
The first of March. Declare the dividend.
I hate a scene but I, by nature’s quirk,
endure the drama, seated on the stage.

I never met a shareholder who said
‘I know you are the CEO. My friend,
we really do appreciate your work.’
Hostility is not so hard to gauge.

Today’s the day it all comes to a head.
A thousand profit-sniffers will attend.
Their eyes will flay me, glaring from the murk,
and though I do my damnedest to assuage

the fury, ‘carbon footprint’s tread’ –
it will not help me. Why do I pretend?
They want more money. Explanations irk.
Their unearned income is the war they wage.

Their eyes and exit signs pulsating red,
No Confidence the motion that they’ve penned,
malicious in the darkness where they lurk,
creators (or the symbols?) of our age.

Deception Has Deep Roots

Shall we travel back in time, to a deception that has ruled mankind.
The year was 1910, a dark, dark night with seven evil men.
The creature that was created there, has left a country in despair.
As we have witnessed throughout time, the Feds, the wars, the Government and their crimes.
All it took for the machine to run, were the lies and deceptions towards the simple man.
Wars are waged for political gain , or bogus environmental issues that are just insane.
It's time to take a stand and abolish the cartels, that infest and destroy our lands.
Our Constitution has been abused, ignored, twisted and misused.
So people wake up and demand a change
Do away with the Fiat money and the chaos it creates.
Send the "Creatures of Jekyll Island" a message loud and clear.
Go back to your swamp, the Digital Age is here.

MONEY WINS

Money may win in this world, we may give all our dreams to have money.
We may give all our mind and heart and love for money.
We may walk and sleep and eat with others just for money.
We may turn away from our truth for money.
Money may led us to places we never could imagine.
Money is powerful, making us have motivation, to do things we never dreamed of.
Money wins sometimes in this world, because without it we have to suffer the loss of stuff.
Money has power but we have choice, the ability to choose and not fall into the lost.
Lifting prayer to God, today and always.

Taking Stock

Been to the London Stock Exchange
opened in 1571 by Elizabeth the Queen
and what's more saw the New York Big Board
the world's largest stock market ever seen
but when I took a trip to Paris
had no clue as to what to do
altho' I was educated in French
(parlez-vous?)
I believe brokers did so to discommode
as when yelling buying or selling
they communicated in Bourse code
