Every day we're shedding skin
Every hour I shrugged off my shoulders a version of myself that danced away with the thoughts that wouldn't dare to linger
These days like this when i can't seem to get ahold of myself and everything around me feels so empty
That clock tick ticking away so loud sometimes it's the only sound I can hear at all
Its only time passing
I don't put my faith in such things, that it offers any relief yet it does somehow
an abstract idea.. a unit of measurement
It shouldn't be a burden nor a comfort
But here we are, here I am
Watching clocks, wasting time
Praying as it passes by
That Everything's going to be ok
We need to accept what in fact we are...nil lowest nor abundant...
A knee-Imprisoning Marsh
And Labor-Demanding Field;
Not agriculturally harsh
But planters forcing to fitness wield …
Rice farmers decide to be rude,
A hundred in an ugly mood.
“Blast Mr. President for lowering prices!
He shall helpless watch be as protest rises”.
On trust, if the Enraged Tongue is ready,
Bloody Fool! Will be surely steady …
But are all these measurement of The Staple
Or hints at its being A Pearl to The Apple?
Perhaps, Rice Men’s Sharp anger in a swamp,
Mr. President spares not his longer jump.
Planters even on one another pick
For the Roughest Unendurable Kick
That yield wounds we lingeringly lick
And Rapport-Ending Keys noisily click …
God! Let this time bomb not intently tick
Nor in their minds The Persecution Thing stick.
An identified cousin of Mr. President
Starts answering to a not-funny “Dissident”,
With a promised repeat of the dent
And wider broadcast of the incident …
Rice farmer are by Eighty Percent rude
And I’m visibly there, no hood.
I grew up with inches, yards, miles, and feet.
I knew the difference, it was easy, and neat.
But today I am far behind in the dust because
Metric scale is what the new math does.
Millimeters, centimeters, cha cha cha.
Pencil thickness is about one centimeter. Rah Rah Rah.
Ten Millimeters is one centimeter, reminds me of cents to a dollar.
I may be catching on, so I stand up and holler.
One hundred thousand centimeters is a kilometer, friend.
One hundred centimeters is a meter, did you know that, Uncle Ben?
Millimeters, centimeters, cha cha cha.
Paper thickness is way less than a centimeter. Rah Rah Rah.
Now I think of my recipes. Did they change the tablespoon too?
Do I have to worry about cups, pints, and gallons for my glue?
I used to know my measurements, but everything is new.
Don’t even show me the rest of the new math. It is a boo hoo.
JUST A letter MOVEMENT UNDER A INCH---
Just
tittles
A little
Move much such an

One plus one will always equal into two
As your faith in grace-that was what saved you
It’s like measuring the distance from A to B to C
The strife’s of Jesus Christ has lit the light in me
The key through His word is like planting a seed
That once it takes root, will supply all our needs
Just imagine riding a bicycle-we’ll never forget
What Jesus went through into paying our debts
All that is required is to just believe in His name
Once the truth begins-you’ll never be the same
Like raindrops falling in the desert, God is good
Quenching our thirst to bless the neighborhood
A kid with a ruler can draw a perfect-straight line
We too needs one to see; our lives are intertwine
We are fishes in the same net, dying from thirst
Fighting for absolution; as to who can get it first
But it’s not from work, God measures our deeds
A faith as puny as a mustard-seed; is all we need
Wilbert Dela Cruz 6-16-16
life is not measured
by success, wealth or pure love,
but by happiness
With His hand He measured the span of the universe
Of which planets, stars along with earth will immerse
Like river rock on any given great river's watercourse
Yet His hand holds me as a mother that newborn nurse
Comforting hand which He measured span of universe
Yet when I am sad, lonely, fearful comfort he will disburse
All my fear, collect my tears in the jar hold all my remorse
Sheltering me from the storms of life away from the concourse
Oh! Grand is the hand that measured the span of the universe
I can safely trust in His promise as He shelters and endorse
By writing my name down in the Book He's my only recourse
In His strong great hand fears truly disburse as comes the hearse
Life is measured not by the outer wealth
Acquired and aggrandized,
But by the inner health and wealth –
The values and virtues of life
Cultured and cultivated.
Life is measured not by the names and fames
Earned and attained,
But by the humour and humility in life
Adored and adorned.
Life is measured not by the power and prestige
Gained and gathered,
But by the peace and poise in life
Nourished and nurtured.
Life is measured not by the length and breadth
Covered and coveted,
But by the depth of understanding
The realities of life
Lived and loved.
The dawn must break into day,
And the afternoon with night,
But what about love?Per say...
And the wonder of its invite?
If we let our hearts be known,
The one to the other,
Would it so not condone
The feelings for another?
For one must love if to live,
A love of boundless treasure.
For all I have but to give,
My heart to the fullest measure.
