My Jazmine

Her eyes are brown,
Her smile is wide.
she has stolen my heart,
she holds my dreams.
she never ceases to amaze me;
her voice is like soft music in my ears,
her kiss is like a sweet cherry freshly picked,
she smells like a full bloomed rose.
as i hold her now
i see my life and wife in her eyes.
she is my bellissima amour.
we grew up together,
we used to play together,
who could have known?
she would be my love
my one, my only
my Jazmine.

Be My Valentine Because I Love You

"Be My Valentine"

     Because I Love You
      Together, We Could
Sleep on Our Bed Head to Head,
          Listen to The UnSaid
Light the Flame Without A Name.

Because I Love You
Together, We Could
   Pretend its Real
     Listen To the UnSaid
Blow the Snow & Steal the Wind.

Because I Love You
Together, We Could
   Dream and Scream
      Listen To The UnSaid
         When Resting in Our Nest.

Because I Love You
Together, We Could
    Watch the Tide
       Listen To The UnSaid
         While Sitting Side by Side.

Because I Love You
Together, We Could
     Be From The Very Few
           Listen To The UnSaid
                  As We Only Knew.

Because I Love You
Together, We Could
    Hold hands just Stand,
         Listen To The UnSaid
             Then Dance to the Band.

                                          I Will Always Love You

By All of This - Ah, Wanton Bliss

That passion’s night, to make me sigh, my love seized several beams from sky and shaped a ring of moonstone bright. To make me sigh that passion’s night. My darling beau, to make me smile, then star-shine stole so he could style a necklace rare with diamond’s glow. To see me smile, my darling beau. Dear Valentine, to dazzle me, took whitest pearls from twilight’s sea, with starry strand to intertwine. To dazzle me, dear Valentine. My true love wooed with more than these, not only sight, but ear to please! Two birds he brought that softly cooed. With more than these, my true love wooed. With rose bouquet, with kisses sweet, he made my heart then faster beat. Artisan of romantic play - with kisses sweet, with rose bouquet. By all of this, in motion set was what I’d never known as yet. It burst, then flowed. . . Ah, wanton bliss, in motion set by all of this! (BTW, this is pure imagination, people!!! So don't be jealous!! hahaha This is a form called Swap Quatrain, PD. Happy Valentine's Day to you!!) For the Get your Valentine's Day poem in... any Valentine's poem will do.. My Heart is Set

My heart is set in love for thee
I sha'nt be satisfied
Until thou come along with me
The swells of life to ride

My heart is set upon thy face
So lovely, so sublime
Could I but drink thy charming grace
'Twould end my earthly time

My heart is fixed on that of thee
I find it ever true
I would thy servant gladly be
If serve I could for you

My heart is fixed upon thy voice
With silver tones and clear
To hear it oft would be my choice
Throughout my ev'ry year

My heart is set upon thy smile
Upon thy sparkling eyes
For thee I'd walk the extra mile
And comfort all thy sighs

In all, my heart is wholly placed
Within thy tender hands
To hold or break as well thou say'st
Upon life's shifting sands

To A Secret Love

In my heart I've always loved you
Always thought you good and kind
Though I know you do not know me
Know you're always on my mind

Nights of darkness pass unbroken
By your smile and gentle ways
How I wish that you were present
Here beside me all my days

Light or darkness, rain or shadow
Thoughts of you are light to me
Now I pray that as you read this
Thoughts of me would kindly be

I would be your slave forever
Just to bring a smile or two
Have you walking life beside me
All your blest commands to do

How I hope that you will greet me
Pray you'll see my desp'rate case
Should you not, I feel I'd shatter
Longing for your smiling face

Can you feel it

Love in the air
can you smell it
Always so loud
can you hear it
Out on the Prowl
Can you see it
Always wanting more
Do you need it

Undying Question

A tin of chocolates
The sun slowly retreating
In beautiful flame

A glance in secret
The firm push of resolution
Butterflies dancing

Girlie smile
The light of welcome
At last --"Will you be mine?"

The Other Stuff

I wanted to buy a dozen red roses
But they refused to touch your hand
The chocolates said that, "You're much sweeter"
And, "Your lips would make them bland"

So I tried to find just the right card
But the words just ran away
There was nothing that the cards could do
There was nothing the words could say

I wanted to cook a Valentine's feast
But I fear it's just a waste
Your smile has crippled my need for food
My appetite's been erased

Then I tried to buy a diamond ring
But your beauty stole its shine
For it's never seen a love like ours
One like yours and mine

So I just want to say, "I love you"
And forget the other stuff
So Happy Valentines Day sweet darling
And I hope that that's enough

For What Its Worth

My heart is yours
For what its worth
It beautiful and cruel
and it misleads many with lovers eyes
to follow what they believe are stars in the night
Like fairys dancing in the dark
It will lure you in with shining lights
And goad you into a taste
Of wine posined with a bit of lust
Fully believing that you are in love
It will take you by the hand
And drag you to the rocky cliffs
Convince you you'll want to take a swim
Breathing in the salty taste
You wont realize that as time passes
Your only wasting away
It will tell you sweet lies
They mean nothing of the truth
Though it may perhaps care
Its only infatuated with you
It will tell you that you have wings
And push you to fly to the heavens
But when you spread your arms to soar
You'll realize that is was just a fake image
It will hold you gently
Like an andaconda in a dream
Feasting like a carnivor
Silencing your scream
You'll find that you are trapped
With no way to be released
Until it wakes from its dream
- Until it wakes from its dream
If you want it you can have it
Though it will only be on lend
My heart is yours
For whats its worth
Remember I warned you my friend
