I Share My Soul

A pair of morning doves preen and prim,
snuggled close on their favorite limb.
And cooing low wake a sleeping sun,
giving praise for a new day begun.

A slip of a ghostly moon rides low,
wearing its light like a pale halo.
And Sol ascends master of the day,
piercing dark with a brilliant display.

Vapors shed crystalline tears on grass,
depositing dewdrops clear as glass.
And blooming flowers imbue the air,
with a fine fragrance beyond compare.

Tall, lanky palms of feathery leaf,
are clad in a green southern motif.
And skittish crabs play tag with the waves,
darting about their collapsing caves.

Sipping fine wine we enjoy the show,
greeting the day with a happy glow.
For as romance and nature combine,
I share my soul with my Valentine.

- Valentines Kiss -

Forever dazzling golden memories treasure flashbacks
Floating always within deep waters mirror reflections

There's nothing in the universe that compares to you
Into our world of inspirational and beautiful dreams

Growing wings in loves light freedom flies
Inside dancing warm waves of feathered feelings

I believe that you're my destiny I see the shine in my life
These are the special things that make me love you

Soul touching beautiful blue rising sparkling diamond kiss
Salted from deepest ocean currents one dream sings

Exactly where the ocean begins and it decides to meet
Making me want to live in the moment forever

Sweet lips burst with flavor tides turn as the piper fish plays music
Flying over the sea sweet tunes dancing in ripples of light

With honesty and compassion a gift so great
I can only give you one thing my love is where you are

To the POETS who broke my heart-A thru Z

~Arthur Vaso~

He danced on hearts and graves
I became his words slave
Romantic a wink,
and I start to think
for me his bleeding heart raves.

~Lyric Man~

You fiddle a melody
that I know not meant for me
I can't help but smile
in romantic denial
your lyrics are my poetry

~Sebastian Aaron Baez~

Tongue like sexual honey
Writing right on the money
but so far away
and there will you stay
because you thought my proposal was funny

~Tim Smith~

All knows we played a game or two,
And you left me right out of the blue
There is no jealousy
coming from me
since I know that your honesty is true

~Adam Hunter~

So close but yet still far
I know just who you are
You're on my list
Yet you resist
Next round, you buy at the bar

~Richard Lamoureux~

Your words are so really real,
Your truth are the real deal
commitment on your finger
made for a real stinger
your a great guy that makes me feel.

Now its time to break all hearts in return
For you all my sweetest men, poetically I burn.
Keep on writing because you rule
and your souls are just dang cool.
Together let us all love laugh and learn! :)
Love you all my soup guys and gals :) Mwah
Happy Valentines day!!

My Funny Valentine

Vino
Vinny
Vino
Vinny
There was no doubt I was seeing double
Vinny poured another glass
I actually think it was whiskey
There we sat, at the back of the Angelos Steak and Kill
The joke wasn’t lost on many
The joint was dark and filled with smoke
Each booth offering up its own unique privacy

Never an evening went by
That some devious plot or plan wasn’t being hatched
Tonight was no different
Vinny laid it all out on a napkin
He told me revenge is bitter sweet
Tomorrow night we would feast on the bitter and the sweet
I had no doubts
I was ready to prove my worth
I was ready

Well the next night came faster than a hangover
Eight of us left in two cars
We had a shot of grapa, only that
The Capone said we needed all are wits about us tonight, and then some
Now no one could argue that, and no one would

Laughter and bravado go hand in hand
We arrived on the side street, where one lone doorman
Was smoking his life away
Little did he know, how soon that fag would be his demise
One shot to the head, and blood spurted
The water fountain of death
Began its dance

In went Vinny in the lead and me right on behind
One doesn’t waste time with fancy introductions
We were there to deliver the red blood of revenge
Sweet death served to order, and we followed orders
The dinnerware and glasses shattered, wine became blood
Made men fell, bullets tangoed uniting the living with the dead

A blood bath
There are no other words to explain
The dead danced with our bullets and fell onto the now red carpet
Revenge was served, they said bitter sweet
Me, I fell to my knees
Vinny he looked over with an uncomprehending stare

The waitress serving drinks
Was shot right through the heart, it was my bullet
That murdered my finance
For me this revenge was to be only bitter
Dazed I lay, in a pool of blood, hers

Sirens in the distance
Vinny yelling, get the hell up, get the hell up
There was no heaven or up for me
I was as good as dead
They left
I crawled over to her

Tears clouded my vision
I laid my head upon her breast
Entwined in agony, within the grasp of reaper
I caressed her soft hair, I kissed the sour blood of my sins
My enemies in death, served me my own poison

She put a finger to her lips
Seductively
She whispered shhhhhhhh
I whispered back, with my now black heart

Be my
Funny valentine

She smiled softly and died

love you more

You came to me a broken mess
You still aren’t fixed the way I was hoping yet
But girl don’t hide your scars and flaws
Because they’re making me love you more

It’s always been more than getting you into bed
Damn I can’t believe some of the things I’ve said
All these romantic, soft and cheesy things
But I want you to know and love isn’t an easy thing

Strip you down so to keep you warm I have to hold you tighter than ever
Hear the rain tapping on the window I hope it gets louder and wetter
Girl I’ve never been happier
Softly kissing on your neck like a romantic Dracula

Staying up late
Talking about random stuff just happy being with each other
I know how you like to be touched babe
So I sneak under the covers

Touch you in ways you’ve never been touched before
Baby you have no reason to be insecure
You’re the most beautiful girl in the world
But your flaws are making me love you more

I love waking up with you wearing my shirt
Taking care of each other sharing the hurt
You heal me and I heal you
Girl if I can find a way to love you more I will do

In Room Enclosed, We Travel

This Valentine, my love, will be divine
I’ll whisk you off to every place and clime
In room enclosed, we’ll travel round the globe
Enchantment waits for us as we disrobe

You'll lay me down on sandy island shore
“Pretend” our game, adventure calls for more
With sweetness on your lips, mine own you'll kiss
A taste that rivals chocolate from the Swiss

I'll whisper tales of wild Arabian Nights
And plop into your mouth Turkish Delights
I'll play the part of harem girl, then maid
Then Warrior Princess come your heart to raid

I’ll shower you with kisses, sweet and wet
And make you lose your clothes on poker bet
Those Vegas lights will twinkle in my eyes
Then off to masquerade in a disguise

Our bodies fuse on our gondola dream
We skinny dip into Venetian stream
The scented candles dim and light peeks in
Your glow, my love, your scent is on my skin

The world is you; you are my every place
There is no beauty finer than your face
This very room where you've made love to me
Is paradise and where I long to be

I BELIEVE

People say that I'm a dreamer
I don't have time for fear and doubt
I believe in Hallmark movie moments
Until that time I'm just fine without
I don't need a girl to complete me
I believe there's only one who's right
She'll come on the wings of Angels
Some special majestic star filled night

I believe nothing is impossible
I believe there's more than it seems
I believe there's a you and me
I believe in heartfelt dreams
I believe in the magic of moonlight
I believe in more than meets the eye
I believe the breeze whispers secrets
I believe there's a Heaven before I die

So let my love be more than anthems
A song can't contain all that it means
Love can't be defined with words alone
It includes all my heartfelt dreams
A Valentine more beautiful than a flower
Her fragrance sweat as a perfect rose
She's delicate like Spring Jasmine petals
And more desired than anyone knows

I believe nothing is impossible
I believe there's more than it seems
I believe there's a you and me
I believe in heartfelt dreams
I believe in the magic of moonlight
I believe in more than meets the eye
I believe the breeze whispers secrets
I believe there's a Heaven before I die

Private Quarters

Faraway magic sparks inside distant dreams awaken tears
spells under a smiling moon casting shadows out howls lonely
within deep soft moving feelings lights all candles in four chambers bright

Silver whispers one lone wolf cries princess moonlighting ball faraway dance
flying on wings across many oceans sweet warmly beams kiss beat stop
Crystal reflections breaking thought vision shatter mirror apex

Over snow mountain under a white blanket hidden inside cold turkey trembles
howls deep chilling winds covered in grey cloud capped silver to gun barrel grey
Striking hot air parting with a bolt lightening strikes the deepest cord

Gasping blows out in waves breathless crashing the highest notes holding
the deepest key reality rippling currents sparking drumbeats skip faster sparks
Growling grumbles to the Heaven's roar almighty bang ignite

Fading away into mountain echoes into a town called Sunday cross an honor
Exquisite faraway beauty you stand out one flower among'st roses brightly
dazzle crowning blossoms stargazing lights up the dark Trawbega bay shore

Amazing colors adorable star spangling treasures gift pure to kiss holding hands
shading from the heart's desire misting dream of dreams promise wish
rainbows sweeping within deep mysterious beauty in your eyes awestruck

Melt with me into the shadows of another world floating mystery
Jewels of the Nile drifting deeply over ocean sands warmly embraced
in one treasure holding vision paradise queen swept away beautiful valentine

Happy Valentine's Day

I've had no lover's valentine
For far too many years,
But I still have some sweet love notes
Among my souvenirs.

If my loved one were here it would be
Valentines every day.
To show my love for him, I'd strew
Hearts all along the way.

Don't weep for me, I've had my share.
This is your time, enjoy.
May your love's words be just as true
As those of my lost boy.

Kiss me Quiet

It's near midnight, whilst we moonlight walk Palm tree lined fairway, Crickets singing Hands clenched in loving vacationed talk Hearts in wanting pound, Batangas is bringing We, she and I, now amidst our intending lock Serenity is the scene blessed by lunar watch So late, but joyous we, soon our lips are speaking Clouds now hover as we witness natures rain Our apartment is distant, we welcome given Through broken lunar light, stroking her mane My hands in taken then, sensuously they're driven Kiss me quiet is whispered, hearts now in reign Walking, slowly walking, absorbing to us this night Hearts in touching pound, Batangas has brought .

Unexpected events

My watch is broken, I can not wait for you to get here
The sun is heating,(I cannot believe) today, we're finally meeting.
I'm not quite sure how I'm gonna act or what I'm gonna say
But of one thing I'm sure, when you'll be in front of me, you'll take my breath away.

While I'm waiting, my mind is flying away
From the moment you'll get here, to the first move you'll make.
I just wish, this day to be perfect
I hope I'm ready for any unexpected events.

It's getting late and you're nowhere to be found
I'm getting all kinds of emotions, but is nothing I can do about..
The park is empty, looks like the rain is gonna arrive
I guess I should be going too, nothing makes me stay around.

Maybe you got stuck in traffic or you've just changed your mind,
Either way, I better go now, maybe we'll get to meet some other time..
And now my battery is dying, I have such a lucky day,
I don't think this day could get any better,
           >>no 'eff!n' way!!<<

Where should I go now? to the hotel or to a pub?
I'll get me something to drink before Imma call it a nite.
I don't find my card key, guess I'm losing my mind..
Huh?!
Who the 'eff' are you 'my friend'?
Why do you have to honk so loud?

    you: Hey!!!
    me: Gosh, you scared me!
you: Where are you going? don't we have a date?
me: Hey, you're the one that got here late.
you: Yeah, I'm sorry. look, I've been running all the way...
me: Cool. I'm glad you came.
I'm starving. where you gonna take me?
you: well, since our picnic is ruined, thanks to the coming rain..
lemme take you to my favorite restaurant..
    me: sounds great. OK.

While in the car, you've turned on the radio
And the silliest song was playing in the air
Smiling, you looked at me and started dancing
Gosh, you're amazing. (that's what I said)

We've got to the restaurant
It's getting pretty hot
No sign of the rain now
Guess she just changed her mind.

When I stepped inside
My favorite song was playing .. so loud
And once you've heard it, you took my hand in yours and smiled
you: Hey, this is our song since now!!

Since then I got this feeling, this awesome feeling inside
I'm with the right person and the nite has just begun
You're full of surprises, beautiful and kind
For me you are so special, I'll roll my dice tonight.

Next thing I know, we were back in the car
The music was playing loud, you were driving too far
The last stop we've made, was at the hotel I'm staying
You grabbed me in your arms and .. and then's when it started ... raining.

The weather gets colder, your hand is on my shoulder,
I ask you if you want to come and wait inside.
The fireplace is on, your clothes are on the stove
I bring you comfy clothes, while you're in the shower.

The rain is falling from the sky, the night is deep, looks black and white
I pour you a glass of wine while getting closer.
The electricity goes off, all of a sudden
We're in the dark, the music stops - I lit (up) a candle.

Looks like the rain has stopped now (or for the moment)
I pour you another glass of wine..
I touch your hand, you're grabbing mine
And pull me closer.

The last thing I remember, you were playing through my hair
I felt your (warm) breath down on my neck and I've kissed your shoulder
Slowly, you laid me down, on the floor, whispering something in my ear
Your fingers were walking down my spine, I've closed my eyes.. that's when we've kissed.

We've spent the night together, sleeping in each other arms
I was your blanket, you were my pillow - the dawn was coming fast.
I woke up and.. watching you sleeping
You found me smiling when you've opened your eyes.

Things went so fast - time was flying by
Only four days, until we say goodbye.
All the sand from the beach, the pictures framed in our minds
The scrambled eggs in the mornings, (all those) kisses (stolen) through the night.

While I'm counting the seconds, my mind is flying away
From the moment we've met, to the last thing you'll say.
I just wish, this day to last forever
I hope our story will never have an end.

In the airport, while waiting for our planes to come
Our silly love song was playing one more time
And once again, you took my hand in yours and smiled
That's when you've asked me, if I want to be ... your wife.

VALENTINES ORCHARD

My heart,

An arid land was

Able not a single feeling to produce

Till

That Valentine's day

When

Into my life she walked

And

With her kind words

Her soft caresses

Her moistening kisses

Turned it

Into a plentiful orchard of

Love!

I'M JUST PROPOSIN'

I’d been in a two-year relationship
He even got down on one knee and did propose
He’s still the only man ever to ever buy me a red rose
But his mother hated me I wasn’t the right one for her son
She put her oar in and caused trouble and soon the damage was done
We split – I couldn’t be bothered with men I didn’t want the hurt
I threw myself into charity work at the local hospital
Radio Lollipop is a hospital radio station especially for kids
I had my own radio show – something I would love to do again
Bob was an engineer and built studios - we became friends
One Saturday we were decorating a float for the Lord Mayor’s procession
I was wearing a tight low cut bright pink T shirt…how could he not notice me!
Started dating in June, just before Christmas we got the flu
We looked after each other at his house ...I never moved out
On Valentines Day 1989 I proposed to him – even though it wasn’t a leap year
I’d got up to get ready for work – he was still in bed.
I knelt down by the bed and asked him to marry me… he said yes! PHEW
We married two years to our very first date
Twenty-three years later we are still going strong

Breath of Love

Sometimes in life it never goes as planned Into cul de sacs we turn behind us we leave Feelings and sadness dealt by life's demands Find that shining light, deliver us from reave To me that light appeared, not one but two Father God through his book, I entered Pasts burdens left behind, no longer askew My path of life now clearer, happily centered Forward I now look to share this romantic day Valentines as we know it, where hearts decide For they shall speak volumes in loving display Under Father God, for it's with his hand we guide This day has finally arrived, it's the morn, we Awakening with a kiss, cuddling, warming hearts Smiles abound aplenty, amidst silken sheets glee To forget pasts grief, welcoming our new start Holding hands in prayer we, to our Father God Us on this romantic day, blessed to each other To thank him, we grace, righteously we laud Breath of love now lives, no longer in smother .

The Perfect Valentine

Sun kissed morning breath covers my face.
In a bed of roses, you're love surrounds me.
I have been taken to an enchanted place.
Where our love has no restrictions, it's free.
My fantasy momentarily becomes reality.

Feeling the results of Cupid's magical touch,
kisses rain on me from the clouds of your lips.
My heart fills will loving you so very much,
I am melting under the fire of your fingertips,
Like a fine wine, I drink you in savoring sips.

Caress my soul my sweet valentine.
Love has never felt this need so demanding.
I am yours and you are completely mine,
One moment, pleasure comes in understanding,
All the stars fall from the sky in a perfect landing.

Secret Valentine

Secret Valentine

Each Valentine Day I recall,
That time I was engaged to wed,
As the most stressful time of all,
Where joy and hope should be Instead.

You see, I received a letter
Of love from a secretive hand,
Telling me that she was better,
Asking me for the wedding band.

At first, I thought this was a test,
A trap, to see if I fess up.
Off her the truth I tried to wrest
And overflow our joyous cup.

But none the wiser I became,
This huge dilemma I now face,
If I tell her, the doubt I’ll claim,
If she found out, I’ll fall from grace,

Took the gamble and hid the truth,
I did not want to break her heart.
I hated this and dread in sooth,
Often wondered if this was smart.

We lived our life in wedded bliss,
The secret kept for all those years,
On twenty-five I felt remiss
And told the truth amidst the tears.

"I loved you always without doubt"
She said to me to keep me calm.
In fits of laughter she burst out,
"That was a letter from your mom".

My Jazmine

Her eyes are brown,
Her smile is wide.
she has stolen my heart,
she holds my dreams.
she never ceases to amaze me;
her voice is like soft music in my ears,
her kiss is like a sweet cherry freshly picked,
she smells like a full bloomed rose.
as i hold her now
i see my life and wife in her eyes.
she is my bellissima amour.
we grew up together,
we used to play together,
who could have known?
she would be my love
my one, my only

ON THIS DAY

All of my thoughts and emotions
All of my attention and affections
Everything from adolescent to maturity
The search for special one was launched
I became the interviewer
And all the elegant became my interviewees
Hoping for something special

So, on this day
I just want to give you me
I want to give you all the attention in the world
I know you’ve seen the color of my love
Embrace yourself love
Coz on this day
This you’ve never seen
And this you’ve got to see
The whole world will seem like you and I
And all will happen on this day

So on this day
I just want to appreciate you
And let you know that
No present is more than a present
Of having you present in my life
No rose can arouse me more
No other brown chocolate can change me
From being there for you with you

On this day
As for promises made can be broken
As for everything said can change
As for our love is eternity
As for words written will remain
And for our love so special

Yet this day may pass
But as for our love will remain
Memories shared will remain

So on this day
I just want to say
You’re what have been missing in my life
Coz, life only makes sense when you know
There is someone worth living for
And for me, you’re the one

So, on this day
I will give you what you can never
Find anywhere that is me.
On this day I want you to know that
I love you more

Love is a Mirage

Love all hate none
is a common saying
I too fell prey to it
And Fell in love ....
My love worked well
As long as there was sunshine
It vanished as the night approached
my shadow was no more with me
Love was gone
At least for a day
Can love be so intermittent?
How could love change faces so soon?
Is it really love
Or just a mirage?
