In The Distance

Words like whispers electrify my soul,
Recharging me from the outside, making me whole.

You mysterious melody soothes me to sleep,
In my dreams we share the future we keep.

Eyes awake to the same twinkling star,
Miles away endless unseemly not so far.

Your words, soft caresses, I need to hear,
No need to hide, I read you loud and clear.

The sweetest touch that I have never felt,
We play the fate that we have been dealt.

Oh the enchantment of your poetic embrace.
Takes me to this fantastic fantasy of a place.

Spirit strong and sure, a heart of purity like snow.
You comfort me in tenderness, blessings you bestow.

I feel your passion for the passion of the purest kind.
When I read your words, inspiration I do find.

My friend, beyond the distance, I feel complete.
For in the night you have swept me off of my feet.

One World

Love is not a color,
No hue, neither a race.
All of our blood is the same,
That runs deep within our veins.

If we could lift up each other,
And know that we all care.
If we help our sisters and brothers,
There's a bond that we'll share.

Unforgettable Moment

Those were my green and salad days
My friends, my toys were all my wealth.
Marbles and pebbles, my gems and pearls.
No fear of loss or bother about gains.
Trump cards valued no less than money.
School , home and uncle’s was my world.
What comes from where and goes where
None of them, I cared about, alike prince.
To run the empire of my utopia, my dad
Fought so many battles against all odds.
Unaware of all, with joy pass my days.
Till one day to pay my fees, I remember
If anything seeped into my mind ever
Like an engraved word on copper plate.
He has to sell his wedding watch
On the pulse, for the first moment in life.
My eyes were wet for someone else
Other than me, painted with the colours
Of emotion, as most memorable picture.

For a poetry contest, inspired from a real memory.

You, Me, and Candy

Love is the essence.

Your presence is flavor.

I'll savor you "Now and Later."

Your sweetness is one,

of many candies,

not just good night pillow mint "Andes."

I'm a "sucker" for you,

like an "Everlasting Gobstopper," forever true.

Even if there's "Mounds" on the "Rocky Road,"

we'll "Crunch" it out and keep our oath.

You gave me a "Ring Pop" and I said, "I do."

You're forever my "Sweettart" and I love you.

You know I'm shy, but a great romancer.

"Red Rope" me in, like a "Jolly Rancher."

Let's make it "Good and Plenty,"

as true love's meant to be.

We'll start with "Hershey's Hugs,"

then we'll twist into "Kisses."

Doesn't that sound delicious?

I'll lick your "Necco,"

as you tickle my ears.

My "Snickers" are so hard,

I'm brought to tears.

I'll "Rollo"-ver and purr like a "KitKat"

while you tenderly rub my back.

"Mr. Goodbar," you're way above par.

You make relaxing easy,

like bendy "Laffy Taffy."

You give me "Red Hots" with your fingertips.

""M"mm "&" "M"mm," are upon my lips.

Take me to "Mars," in the "Milky Way,"

anywhere, as long as you stay.

Call me "Baby Ruth," or whatever you please.

Call me your girl, or a playful tease.

You're a little nutty, my happy "Almond Joy."

When it's "Reece's," I'll play with your toy.

You're not so shabby, fancy "Sugar Daddy."

We'd make great "Sugar Babies."

Maybe with lots of practice,

we might have "Twix."

We'll name them "Mike & Ike,"

or something we both like.

You're such a "Big Hunk,"

and I love "Whoppers."

Let's make this night one of many non-stoppers.

(Candy names were originally in bold instead of quotations, but it didn't transfer over
correctly.)

She Dreams of Him

Your mind has designed the perfect lover
That sensitive man of your special dreams
You wait for him to rip off the covers

Late night dinning with kisses and moon beams
You are awake and still dreaming of him
That sensitive man of your special dreams

Alone in the night the lights grow dim
Thinking about love and what it all means
You are awake and still dreaming of him

Real life may not always be filled with steam
You try to be thankful but it seems hard
Thinking about love and what it all means

With imagination you play the card
Even though you're aware it isn't real
You try to be thankful but it seems hard

In the end you can't help how you feel
Even though you're aware it isn't real
Your mind has designed the perfect lover
You wait for him to rip off the covers

Your Love

Your Love

Your love...
Makes me love you more
Your love is what I truly adore

Your love...
Cast a spell upon me
Love me now,
Set me free!

Your love...
I hold close to my heart,
Please don't ever let me depart
I knew it was true love
Right from the start

Your love...
Set me on fire,
Because baby it's you,
My one true desire

Truth be told

Truth be told I miss you,
I miss the nights we'd talk,
And the laughs we'd share,
The immense power we would shift,
from one cosmic half of the earth,
To the other,
Transforming,
transfixed on each other,
and finding another plane of existence.
Truth be told I miss you,
I miss the love we shared,
freely and openly,
no questions asked,
no thought as to right or wrong,
Age was never a factor,
Distance could be quelled,
With just a thought,
and I would feel your arms,
wrap with strength around me,
And fall into their serenity.
Truth be told I miss you,
I miss thinking of you late at night,
wondering if I'm also on your mind,
I miss the beautiful friendship we have,
unrestrained, unexpecting, simple.
Truth be told,
I miss you.

Give Me Music

I wasn't looking for you when you came along,
now you have my heart singing to a different song,
you've filled in the blanks and gave it a beat,
i feel like my life is finally complete

oh you gave me music
oh you gave me words
oh you struck the chorus
oh love i have heard

all your sweetest lyrics
all your sweetest songs
i am moved by you
and i'm singin along

i tried hard to resist but i can't deny
how i want to give your love a try
you can trust i'll give you my everything
you play the music and baby i'll sing

oh you give me lyrics
and i'll give you words
oh you've play the beat
and your all that i've heard.

you're the sweetest lyrics
i've ever sung
you're the honey that sweetens my tongue

IRONSIDE

Hey LAdies!!!
Casanova's not who you think he is...

One simple google click
background check
will nullify his bliss.

There's much more to
the Man
the Myth
the Trick

A fake glitch
flash in the pan
don't make me beg
an' expose that pathetic man's
Cracker Jack Prozac plan

C'mon baby, phenol Barbie Doll
don't keep makin' same mistakes
believin' his B.S. trip and falls.

Manic Queen of depression,
leave old Papa Wheelie alone
his words are Romeo sweet
yet his lies are overgrown.

BLUNDERWOMAN STRIKES BACK - A POEM FOR TIM SMITH

TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS POEM PLEASE READ MY POEM 'NOT QUITE
WONDER WOMAN' AND TIM SMITH'S POEM A CALL TO BLUNDERWOMAN

Hey Tim’s kids get off your tush
Your dad is baking something lush
He’s made a massive tray of cake
Do the washing up for goodness sake

Then he’s going to mow the lawn
Poor guy’s been up since the crack of dawn
Then he will tackle the all the weeding
While you shout out ‘dad we need feeding’

So give your dad a lovely break
Surprise him with a special cake
I’d give you a hand but I’m not free
But please send a slice to me

Get off the x box and have some fun
Play in the park or go for a run
If dad is busy then give me a call
And Blunderwoman will scare you all

Then you will appreciate you dad
For Blunderwoman is really bad
She will fill your head with dread and fear
So do me a favour pour your dad a cold beer

Sit him down in front of the telly
With lots of food and wobbly jelly
Give him hugs and a special treat
Now he can relax and put up his feet
