Where Eagles Fly

Dare to fly
The wind is howling
Heaving against the jagged rocks.
A climber relentlessly hangs on to endurance
Skilfully persevering till eventually the top is reached, the aim achieved.

WHEN WISDOM WALKS Lies, shams, they cloud the truth's eyes. They seed buds of sin which unfolds to depravity, as they... can smother hope or stroke all lobes of the mind but if we let honesty spearheads our deeds then there we permitted wisdom to walk... ______________________________________________ Sponsor Rob Carmack Contest Name Fibonacci ==Placed 1st== O.E. your woods
through every
quiver of bonfires...
although our music pealed a wind
flamed evensongs quickly languished,
cleaving my breaths into dry twigs; and hushing a faceless moon
                                                                 with your shadow-dance flight.

Ocean Versus Pool

Ocean Versus Pool The days are hot, the water cool, but unlike days beside my pool, the ocean lives a moving thing, with surf and sand it has its fling, and far out past the eye can see, instead of woods, the sky meets sea…delightful choice for me! © Sandra M. Our Time

cashed out
way before
the meter expired
sending our dreams somersaulting
helter skelter to the whims of what never was planned
leaving fairy tales breathless, our favorite song, weeping still, in the landfill of love

Good Bye

Tears Roll Gently My heart cries As it dies once more My arms go limp as you break free Standing alone with memories and a broken heart I am lost, a pauper without a grave, doing time waiting for Him to call me home

O, the pain - - -

my cat is dead and I weep my heart is broken in a few seconds it was done I felt the life fading from her and she was so still and in her death she was beautiful and utterly at peace and all the pain was gone _________________________________ March 16, 2015 Fibonacci Entered in Any Poem #32 Contest, sponsor, A Poet Destroyer Honorable Mention

Juggernaut of Love

Smiles from heaven

Bright Orbs Open Seams in sky Heaven’s fine fabric Shows us smiles from loved ones who passed They guide us through the dark night, helping us move forward Letting us know there is another life beyond the one we struggle to endure on Earth’s plane

Fold in the sides - tuck the corners
For only then will my wrinkled thoughts be neatly made.

A Reflection On Truth

Why? Love? Friends leave! Where is truth? Where is love in life? Truth is but an idle construct! Friendship nothing but a barren fair weather desert! The world manifests itself through hollow people, without truth, without love or passion! Truth but leaves you naked and will expose your soul then to find it pierced by the hypocrisy and cynicism of those with empty hearts. Truth is a masquerade dressed in fantastic costume by hollow men of no faith, manipulated and moulded to their own rhythmic dance. The world turns on falsehood and deception, truth and trust sequestered, love forgotten! Hollow words cascade from the mouths of fair weather friends! Truth is usurped by hollow men! Where is trusts sanction? Where is truth? Faith dies! Trust? Why? Written by Shane Cooper 12/03/2015

I Am Woman

Of love, empathy
Compassion and true trust
At times I may seem meek; do not assume I am weak
When I am good; I am really good; and when I am bad I can be a hurricane

TANGO (Fibonacci)

TANGO (Fibonacci)

Bold Spanish music
Flask of vintage wine Two glasses
She so dark So beautiful The rhythm? Maddening!
A Tango by Albeniz Fire in her eyes Lips promising
                                         Young love

Peace to Understanding

to find peace
in my heart and soul
through meditation and prayer

that encourages my spirit to seek understanding in all aspects of my life.

Step on and over other saints, judgement will come to the dogs and eternal torture!

Be Happy

you don't need
necklaces of gold
or all the money in the world,
what you do need though, is Love,Trust, and understanding
those are the things, that can't be bought with all the money in the world
or fifteen tons of gold.
What you can get to be happy is, Friendship,Husbands,Wives,Children,Grand
children, that is love, trust, understanding,a life of morality, GOD!

  WoW thta was tough!

Ghetto Summer (redo)

in the air
humidity fumes
reflecting off dusty windows.

Thanks Sharon for pointing out lines 1/2 in a fibonacci are both only
one syllable. Doesn't read as dramatic but it works ... smile ...
