Just one summer like no other
that is what it was !
You and I across the field
                          playing like wild children
in the playground of my heart !
Here and there, everywhere
                    we were
                            angels soaring o'er daises
     un-plucked* breathing *
Rain or shine, we were always together
drenched in sunlight we were poetry
As we lay softly on the
                         summer grass
the heady scent of flowers clothed us,
even rain could not wash away
                    the inhale of our innocence,
It was a summer like no other
the summer when we first met ,

Premium Member The Shadow Of His Wings

In the shadow of His wings He will hide me
In the shadow of His wings he will hide
deep inside
when the morning sun arrives
it is time
when the sun has filled the sky
its a sign
In the shadow of his wings he will hide me
In the shadow of His wings he will hide
deep inside
when the evening curtain falls
it is time
when our words have failed to say
its a sign
In the shadow of your wings I dare to hide
in teh shadow of your wings, deep inside....

Premium Member Wait for spring

When the days grow shorter and rain clouds Fill the sky

Trees no longer have green leaves and the flowers Begin to die

Nights are drawing in and the days are getting shorter

Mist rolling up the valley streams with ice
In the water

But time does not stop and winter will fade away

When the dark cold will be no more and
We have the start of warmer day

Thats When the leaves on the trees turn green and the birds will start to sing.

So remember that winter will eventually end and new life will start in spring.

Premium Member Let's Find Peace in the Woods

Let's find peace in the woods
away from city stress.
Stillness and solitude
for now will serve us best.
With calm contentedness,
destress and decompress.
Amidst nature, we're blest.

Praising the power

Thanks, this scribe must say,
Grateful we woke up today,
Let's rise with joyful smiles,
God blesses us across the miles,
Seeking God's wisdom, no less,
Trusting divine plan, no stress,
God, hope we can all still pray,
Guide Earth's city of God someday,
Sent us Jesus, holy preacher,
Holy Spirit, our best teacher,
Grace sparks us, staying alive,
Thanks, God, our faith can thrive,
God loves His mortals anyway,
Even when the flock turn away,,
Praising His power, no need to fret,
Thanking awesome God, our best bet.

Lord love 'em

Lord, let's love all men,
Someone really needs to, dears,
They are so unique.

Premium Member SHE WORE A CARAMEL COVERING-

She wore a caramel covering;
Her heart beats as a little one;
A jovial girl, lovingly cared for;
A mother's joy, a father's girl
Be that portion subject to trauma;
Yet still be a Holy Daughter;
A Daughter of a Holy God;
She is formidable:
She is a righteousness of a almighty God:
Selected Carmel Sister;
She wore a caramel covering which is her skin

Our claim to fame

As I stand before the pearly gate
I reflect upon the hands of fate
The nature of my swift demise
That caught us all; quite by surprise

Reflections on a life well lived
Proud of what I’ve had to give
Pleased with those I leave behind
No desire to press rewind

What has been my claim to fame?
Will those left still know my name?
My life has been a lesson learned
The love I felt was surely earned

I leave behind my finest treasure
Love and knowledge beyond all measure
Future faith in life restoring
To build a world more reassuring

The Songs of Nature

Just listen to the nightingale’s song—
you will know God’s compositions
are flawless, without error.
No earthly force can drown its melody,
woven with beauty and complexity,
for every ear to savor.

Its voice never cracks nor falters,
a gift no man can bestow.
Whistles, trills, and warbled phrases,
unwritten, yet always pleasing,
teaching us that music
needs no single tongue.

Hence it is often said:
music has no language.
Songs can stir the feet to dance
without a single word—
as the birds themselves have shown.

The wind too hisses its song,
yet it charms the earth.
Trees, shrubs, and grasses bend,
swaying back and forth
to its rhythm,
delighting in the dance.

Nature sings without instruments,
its melodies whole and pure.
We copy and claim them,
yet God never claimed a copyright
when He composed the first songs.

Through nature, God is the teacher:
the flight of planes in the bird,
the sailing of ships in the fish,
the motion of cars in the beast.

Nothing we make is truly new.
What we call invention
was already in His creation.
Both good and bad are His,
for all things begin with God.

Premium Member Finding You

Climbing the highest mountain,
sailing through cyclonic seas,
battling the demons and dragons.
My spirit is begging to be free.

I spent half my life flaying at windmills,
later in the valley of despair,
I gave up many times with death in mind,
but I knew you were waiting somewhere.

Love led me to a verdant forest.
The light shimmered on a jeweled path.
Taking my hand and with bated breath,
I saw you and my sorrows passed.

Waiting for me with arms open wide,
with the light of love in your eyes.
Thawing my heart and my empty soul,
healing my wounds with your sighs.

I have waited a thousand years, it seems,
through a lifetime of sadness and pain.
I could hear your call, and I followed through.
My life has not been in vain.

Flume Sonnet

It thunders through like a rampaging doom,
water cracked the stone, and carved out this chute,
the locals around here call it the Flume,
white water churning through a confined route.

Roiling, throwing mist onto the rocks,
always wet and sporting a sheen of green,
so loud is the torrent it’s hard to talk
over the noise as the water careens.

Empties out into four small waterfalls,
which widen into a wading-deep pool,
folks splash around, and the kids short and tall
dunk heads in the cascades, thinking it’s cool.

But never dare try riding the cataract,
even dumb kids know they will not come back.

Premium Member Unworthy Love

It's clear that you love me
But i don't understand why
After the things I have done
And all times I made you cry

I've let you down many times
And put those tears on your face
I hate myself for creating you pain
Along with all your disgrace

I cannot fathom how you felt
Each time your heart was broke
The pain and shame you hid
Behind depressions dark cloak

You stood up for me each time
Even knowing I was in the wrong
Your love must unconditional
And it's grace I do not belong

You deserve someone who's worthy
And who isn't the reason you to cry
This is difficult because I love you
But it time that we say goodbye

Premium Member Seclusion

Seclusion

Off the grid in one's time and space,
One's preference of seclusion.

One's freedom for breathing space, living
In a world of fierce personal experiences
amongst other things.

Seclusion made friends with me personally
Each and everyone I cherished, I loved
wasn't equivalently consistent.

Most of the time being misunderstood nearby
By the young and old.

Eyes are now open wide.

Peculiar? Attempting to mute ones light.

Seclusion preserved essence of one's core of
Anima.
