It is said that when Zackeus slide down the tree so fast that he started the bark to peeling...
The Scyamore's leaves have yellowed Defining it's bark that peels white It is tall, straight and stately A vision of pure delight It reminds me of Zackeus Who rested upon its stately limb To get a glimpse of Jesus Then slide down to get close to him Just for fun Click on "About This Poem"
