Youth In Pain

Too troubled in my youth Too blind to see the truth My anger I cannot vent The pain I use to have I do not know where it went I've heard many cries of pain and sorrow Hoping that maybe there will be no tomorrow Tears from my inner thoughts tempt me I forgot about the present I try not to focus on the future so I choose and exit Without a clue or doubt The pain inside shouts out Destroys you first inside Then it kills you on the outside Mixed with fear and mixed emotions Trying not to start a whole commotion Tears come forth my eyes Now the truth inside defines despise This pain never leaves However, the pain does reprieve Inside I am ripping apart Failing to start Lord. Give me strength to see the pain Let my life not be in vain We the children of the world are deceived Love adorned on bended knee From the slavery of this world only; God can make the children free.
