You'Re Not There
When words can't be said,
And time doesn't heal,
We remember the dead,
As if they weren't real.
When their shadow still follows,
And your heart becomes hollow,
All you see is their smiling face,
And remember how it used to be in this place.
I still need you here,
I wasn't ready to let go.
You left with out warning,
No shudder, no sigh,
I never had a chance,
To even say goodbye,
Coming closer,
Just one more step,
Longest step of my life,
Breath becomes short,
Heart is in my throat.
You're not there.
