Your Song
I am walking away from the things that you say.
I am walking away from the things that you do.
You claim that right can only be in the obedience of ‘your way’, you must think me some kind of fool.
You say that your way is right and that their ways are wrong.
You react out of anger and spite, forcing others to belong.
You can have your own mind, you can sing your own song.
But only a fool thinks that he’s always right and never can be wrong.
I am walking away from the things that you say.
I am walking away from the things that you do.
I’ve seen enough to know that my path can’t align with your way.
I’ve heard enough to know that your song ain’t so cool.
