Your Smile Sends Me

You were sly with your wanton stare  How you seduced me with only a look Neither classic nor found in any book Unique to you it was somewhat unfair While I was naked just standing there The strokes so quick we barely...met I do not know how the pallet had felt But I feared my whiskers would melt As I kissed the canvas, us two a duet A miracle occurred as the paints...set I the paint brush marveled at your smile You - The Mona Lisa the epitome of style 01~13~2015 Sponsor: Rick Parise Inspired By The Mona Lisa Painted By Leonardo da Vinci

How interesting, you had to paint another from the one you saw; and it's captivating. I wanted more, Maurice. love this romantic piece.

I know it's quite late to be commenting, and though you said goodbye to soup for awhile, I came to once again enjoy the unique way you stroke the senses with your words. The brush has become the creator and the lover of the painting created from out of nowhere...It's a creative stroke like no other...Will be waiting for you to bring life to the four corners of soup as before...You're a fav! Wherever you are, smiles from the land of thousand isles...:D Kim

wow, I love how you made the paint brush the "speaker" in this poem. at first I was thinking it was the artist himself, but it is more subtle and imaginative to have it be the paintbrush. A wonderful work with your poem for Rick. I used my December poem for this particular contest. Maybe it won't work. But I wanted to post that poem and had no idea what to use other than my sweet December muse!
