Where are you? You're not here. have opened the door and you're not there I called you on the phone and you won't answer I washed the dishes and put them away you're not here fixed your favorite meal you're not here I sit down and read my favorite Bible verse hi ooh and wonder if you're hurt I Ponder I pray I stare into space still you're not here I just robe and get into my pajamas I lay in our bed it just doesn't matter I close my eyes follow my knees and pray where are you my love why have you gone away dismiss at naught and when I open my eyes to my surprise there you are in my heart souls mind eyes wide open shut no more lingering tears I cry...you are here 3/22/24 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr
