Your Lover (Part Ii)

Just for you, may my head be purest gold with hair wavy and black as a raven's. May my eyes be like doves by the water streams washed in milk and set like jewels. May my cheeks be like beds of spices yielding perfume and my lips like lilies dripping with myrrh. May my arms and hands be rods of gold set with beryl under you, embracing you; and over you may my chest be like decorated sapphires and my back and shoulders like polished ivory. May my waist be as lapus lazuli and my legs like pillars of marbles set upon feet fine as gold. Let my radiance shine upon you. May my countenance be like the choice cedars of Lebanon and my mouth be sweetness itself, the most sweet; as your lover and your friend, may I be altogether lovely. I am yours; you are my mine. Delight to sit in my shade and taste my sweet fruit. I am your banquet hall, and my banner over you is love. Let me strengthen you with my raisin cakes and comfort and refresh you with my apples. When you are faint with love, my left hand will be under your head to support you, while my right arm embraces your beauty- for now is the time to arouse and awaken our love. Now listen...
