Your Loss

Whatever they think of me I no longer pay any mind Does it really matter in the Grand Design Do they weild so much power as to make stars align Or have they walked the miles in my shoes Or put in as much painfull time But time and time again When they test my fortitude I still win Even when i bite my tongue and my Patience wears thin All because of not who i am but the Spirit within So i declare to you all who have given up on me It really doesnt matter For deep within i am free To bad you threw away the time To know the real me. Just don't ever give up on yourself! Families sometimes get things so wrong but ultimately we are responsible for our own happiness. You are an emotive poet Carl.

This write was basically about family and how spite and envy ruined it all. Thanks for reading. Blessings Carl
