Your Heavenly Eyes

I awoke with thoughts flashing in my head I knew I had to write them down So I got out of bed. A thought of a love so pure, so fine And I couldn’t get it out of my mind. Those piercing eyes looking at me Telling me to put it into poetry. SO HERE IT IS Your eyes attracted me from afar Like the tail of a shooting star I longed to hold you and make a wish And taste the sweetness of your kiss. To have you brighten up my darkest night And send my heart into flight. To feel the warmth of that fiery fire And fulfilling my every desire. All of this I could see as your eyes holds the mysteries And taking me into the depths of your soul And making me completely whole. Like a whirlpool I am pulled down I try to scream but I have no sound. I am falling deeper and deeper with no end in sight Yet I am calm in this journey of delight. This whirlpool is starting to slow its pace As I see your beautiful face. And on this I cannot deny That I have found heaven in your eyes.
