Your Face

It is online, I first saw you, My initial thought was, could it possibly be true Your handsome face your gorgeous blue eyes Structure of courage and dreamy like skies, Thoughts of a picnic or a walk with you soon Perhaps a high meadow or a peaceful lagoon I long for the warmth, your hand holding mine, As we walk and talk, no care of the time Your smile to my face, received in my heart Touches my soul that I am no longer apart For now you have made my day fully bright that I long for your arms, someday holding me tight

Hi Christine, thanks for the sweet visit. I'm looking forward in reading more from your delightful pen. Another smooth write like this would do. Somehow, this poem reminds me of a friend I met online. His face had a special place within. Welcome once again. Linda
