Your Birthday, Your Age
Few years, I remember
When the future was little known of
And our hopes were more embraced
Little dear! I held you with my hands
Like a Spanish guitar (as they sing)
For by my tongue so came your song
My voice would doze you off and calm you down
Is it not wonderful
To remember my precious secret of you
How miniscule and lively you looked
For by that I wrote of you in my heart
This day has been born again
To celebrate your annual celebration
For in it so dwells the memory
The blessings of your life
A blissful and marvellous birthday
Is all my word and wish for you
Written between 2000-2003
Just the young thoughts of the young mind
