Your Beautiful
Sad 'cuz your single
Lonely 'cuz you don't have anyone to talk to
Embarrassed to leave the leave the house or to even get dressed
Don't want to be seen in public
Heart shattered too many times
Excessively frightened of letting anyone in
Longing for someone to love you
Simply don't want to get injured
Wondering why your getting hurt so much
“Is it my fault?
“Do I need to change?”
Cut my hair, get contacts
Go to the gym
Lose a couple pounds
Wear makeup, get new clothes
Ta Da!
I'm beautiful!
Well at least I think I am
Got the self confidence to finally leave
Walk by tons of people and watch their gazes observe me
Mouths wide open
Are they satisfied now?
They start to surround me
If this is what it takes to get noticed,
Like actually noticed
Then I don't want to be this person
Cut my hair, get contacts
Go to the gym
Lose a couple pounds
Wear makeup, get new clothes
This isn't the real me
And it would hurt me to pretend it was
Don't cut your hair, or get contacts
Don't go to the gym
Your perfect the way you are
Lose the makeup, and keep the old clothes
Your Beautiful!
