Younger Souls
Some folks can't dig deep enough to see the truth
They cannot introspect, they are not obtuse
They have younger souls and graze through life
They have maybe experienced life only twice
They experience emotions less intensely
Their lives are lived less complexly
Older souls recognize the younger
Younger souls see no difference in others
You probably can think of someone you know
They don't have to be young to have a young soul
They can be very intelligent, successful and kind
But there's something different in their state of mind
It's a depth that is absent, it is sensed
An inner wisdom that hasn't commenced
If this is not understandable to you
Chances are your soul is lovely and new
