You Will Know Who This Is
You Will Know Who This Is
What will I do when daughter has gone?
Closed all blinds and drapes are drawn
In the deep dark is where I do lay
Now that daughter has passed away.
Was very tired and had grown weary
Each day I did live in was more dreary
I seem so sad and am full of dismay
Why would God take my daughter away.
To God will the thought ever occur
What I want is to be in heaven with her
And if I were to receive what I wish
Life here on earth want God to finish.
Take me to heaven where memories are
Of once when I had been a rising star
Still something deep in me is inherent
God, I always was a very proud parent.
For God. what I had was a true thirst
Why would my delightful child die first
At same time, please both of us take care
Now that in heaven we both are up there.
