You Steal My Soul

Frowns on my clock faces As time races The hour’s close to being half-way Done soon to pass half-way Till I get to hold the one Her scent on a wind gust From 3000 miles away must Mean nature speaks to me “Lyndell, she was made for thee” And you for Jaimee This love was meant to be A real love song Sung true to the one I belong Baby remember that night To you I confessed my sins And somewhere within My mind I needed you To not let go of my hand But knew you should Yet you never did Lies I’ve hid behind Reasons to push lovers away Now I look forward to the day We both fight back tears And pledge to spend the rest of our years That day erases No more clock faces Time will stand still Like in every moment you steal My soul
