You Never Listen

You don't like to hear what I have to say, I try to talk to you every single day. Your never there when I need you most, your never there when I need you close, I know I'm not great, I know I'm easy to hate, but you should be one to care, you should be the one treating me fair. I just can't talk to you, and you know its true, because no matter what its not right! I can't make you proud even with all my might. Some others are there for me, but they never there when I need, shouldn't you be doing that? I just want you to love me, like you loved them, mom why can't you be what you were to them? A motherly friend?
