You May Need Mace In This Place
YOU MAY NEED MACE IN THIS PLACE
It’s the hill over there
It’s the arid desert here
Sweating in both places
And I’ve run out of friendly faces
There’s a mountain over there I cannot climb
Although I’ve got plenty of empty time
And what if, at the apex it’s just like the other places,
Because I’ve run out of friendly faces?
There’s a river wide and rapid
While I remain not vane but vapid
Some people enjoy things like holding three aces
But as for me I’ve run out of friendly faces
There’s a castle over there I cannot enter
I’d die before I ever reached the epicenter
The universe has certainly put me through my paces
And s**t, why I can’t I become one of those friendly fu**ing faces?
