You Made Me This Way

I write and write and then delete and then I write again
I think and then I overthink to overcome the pain
I smile at you, then frown at you, and then I sigh and cry
I wonder what you've done to me, and then I wonder why
I give my love, I take it back, and then I give some more
I put down drawbridge of my heart, and then I bolt the door
I do my dance, I hope to trance, and then I disappear
I warm you up, and then I chill, and then I draw you near
I plant a kiss, and then I hiss, and then I pacify
I touch you cheeks, and lick your lips, and then I say goodbye
I contemplate and ruminate and then on impulse act
I dream of you, and live for you, and hate you: that's a fact!
So, here's the deal, just let me heal from my insanity
But you must know, this crazy show is not just vanity
I must blame you, your love's not true, and I am victimized
I try to gain, reprieve from bane, but heart is paralyzed
You drive me mad, you make me glad, you play me like a toy
You make you crave, you make me slave: you are a naughty boy!
So I must say, I am this way because of what you've done
So go away, oh, please just stay, and make me come undone!
Eileen ;)
