You Made Me Cry
You made me cry
You made me laugh
You made me hope;
I shouldn’t have
I hit the wall
I broke the skin
Fell to the floor
And laughed again
You made me cry
And that was new
But hittin’ things
I usually do
Sat on the floor
Laughed through the tears
Didn’t know
I had these fears
Have a cure
Crank the tunes
Hide away
And grab the booze
And bad it is
Again I fail
To lose myself
In a bottle o’ale
Didn’t work
Still more tears
Really hope
It won’t take years
