It was a long time ago. But I remember it well. I bought into your logic. It was a really hard sell. We lived too far apart and we had our whole life ahead. We both agreed it was best. Cold logic became the words of regret. My heavy heart was a lump in my throat. The disbelief left me in a cold sweat. It was a lie when I said i agreed and I haven't gotten over you yet. We would talk on the phone for hours sometimes. Convincing each other we did the right thing. I never met anyone that made me feel like you did. One smile from you and I could face anything. Have you ever loved someone and really needed them bad? Have you ever thought of someone as the best you ever had? Do you wonder how we could call it quits and still think about each other everyday?
