You Had Me
You had me
I was yours and you were mine
I loved you
And you were blind
I couldn't wait for you to see
For that could have been eternity
But you had me
With my humor I made you laugh
With every touch I made the sun follow you
I made you whole and you were mine
But as the stars give way to the day
And the ocean ripples with laughter
To you I was only but a dream
You made me to wait; when I wanted to
move
I swear at some point; I thought you loved
me
I could see the seed of love slowly
germinating in you
Was I delusional?
Or this were the maybes of love; love never
replied.
At times I felt it was all coming together
And we were moving an inch forward
You held me in your warm embrace,
stretched a kiss sometimes
Reflections of love , my eyes, told the story
All the prayers I made; you heard them.....
A dew from heaven; the moon to your days
But you had me and you didn't know what
you had
Although you were my world.
