You Go Girl

I know of this gal who's started a diet I wish her much luck in her quest Can't mention her name, she'd be upset But accepts this challenge with zest We know how difficult diets can be One of the hardest things to accomplish But this gal can do it if anyone can Her ultimate success is my wish Once a successful real estate agent Accomplishing that a great feat So losing some pounds should be a snap A lead pipe cinch to complete There are many others in need a boost To start them on their way to skinny An incentive helps to spur them on So once more they can wear a size “mini” Good luck to her and all you others Who've grabbed the bull by the horns The prize at the end is so darn rewarding To wake up feeling great every morn! © Jack Ellison 2013

You know your'e kinda spunky for an old dude. "You Go Girl"... why this made me laugh I don't quite know, but it did. I hope she does well and keeps up on her diet, I think it's great that you wrote this for her. Your topics vary greatly... I like not knowing what to expect when I read... keeps things fresh!

Hey hey old friend! How are things with youse! You are one of the guys I missed leaving FanStory! But it was time for a change. Found P-Soup to be less competitive... no obvious rating system! Why don't you come on over and join me and your friend Delysia (Hendricks?) We'll hire a marching band! Cheers, Jack

I don't diet. It wouldn't work... but my weight always stays the same... We live without sugar in our house my diabetic hubby is to blame. He found the answer so we don't gain... but darn it, nobody cares... since I chase them away with what I write... it's a mute point from the start... PS. I don't have a picture since my face was made for radio... but can't complain... I enjoy my lifes' part. Besides the Trolls think I'm beautiful...

About living without sugar... me too! One of the main reasons I've been able to lose 50 lbs, I use a natural substitute called "Xylotol". It's from a plant in South America, has no aftertaste, and as sweet as sugar. Kinda expensive though but well worth it. The month I stopped using sugar was my biggest loss... 10 lbs. Yee haw!

YUP! That's me... the Quatrain King! LOL It's all I know or want to know. It enables me to express myself in the simplest of ways! Not that I don't admire those that explore the many many other styles. Once again, thank you my good man!
