You Fooled Me
You fooled me.
You fooled me.
I thought that with you I'd found my match.
I thought that you and me would last.
You bring me to my knees, helpless and weak.
The blows received just hurt too deep.
Through thick and thin we've been; and then some!
Why survive so much for what now we've become?
Why not just kill the rest of me?
At least somehow that way I'd be free?
I can't stand by while my heart dies
No matter how hard I try.
You fooled me.
You fooled me.
