You Don'T Want To Love Me

You don’t want to love me, You’re scared of giving in. Just don’t want to take the leap - Because of where you’ve been. You don’t want to love me - Because it’s far too real. Because you know how hard you’d fall, If you let yourself feel. You don’t want to love me, You’re scared you’re not enough. You think we would fall apart When times in life got tough. You don’t want to love me, I’m too close of a friend. I’m different than the others - Territory where you’ve never been. In all your reasons not to, In pushing me away, In denying how you feel - I think you’ve loved me every day.
