You Didnt Know

YOU DIDN’T KNOW Maybe you didn’t know But your single plate fills mine a day That note you give for the bill My hair would shine a month But I guess you didn’t know Step lightly lest you pop out my jiggers Your fine pointed heels, in my dreams I saw That perfume so unique, passed for a queen’s That’s the world deep in my sleep I dream But I guess you didn’t know They ask for dollar fee to print my page To me it’s a dollar quiz, to have food or the page It’s a talent I got but poor to see it through online I write for pleasure, the able print and make doe But I guess you didn’t know Silently down on my knees daily I beg Its one life, with death no return I hear of Angels sent, daily I wait for mine A change I need, in food and education But I guess you didn’t know If only the guards by your gate fell asleep A double print my dirty feet would do on your terrace For the degree is so expensive, landlord a daily nag The intestinal worms on hunger strike, no more tears down But I guess you were the sent angel.

Good writing...true there's a wide gap between those who are at the top and those at the bottom...but we should be grateful for everything we get no matter how little or much.
