You Choose Me
In a world of many wonders
the one that strikes me most
is the utterly stunning fact
you choose me to love
how did I get so lucky
my numbers defiantly came up
the day you decided I’m the one you love
my eyes crave your image
I want you in my day
time passes slowly while I’m away
I have a mind filled with our memories
and plans I want to make
I hold your hand and pray you wake
sat besides your hospital bed
