You can’t please people

My words might sound to some strange, or my rhymes maybe rough around the edges I only write what I can arrange, I don’t need to stand on any bridges sometimes I am not in my right state of mind, all my thoughts are scattered along the ridges But other times I glow bright like a star, or piece of art, in its fringes no matter how hard you try, you can’t please people even if your words are riches What your heart tells you is always right, so don't ignore your pain and look at the stitches Continue to write what’s on your mind and don’t stop as long as you’re writing hand itches Saleh Ben Saleh

Wow your opening line, i was just saying that too to someone, my words might sound to some strange, but they are my thoughts and emotions and how true is what you’ve conveyed here and i agree we can’t please all. And yes i received some silly comments too so i think this is why this poem hits so strong for me.i love the rhymes too here: this is a fave for me. And one i wish i had written for the depth and emotions resonate so strongly! Love it. Pleasure reading your work

Thank you Mat. I wrote this in response to a silly comment I had received and and felt that I had to encourage others to write regardless of what they heard from people.
