You are my friend The one who is always there When I smile or cry The one who listens The one who knows me well You are the one who never leaves When I need you close The one who is beyond good and bad The one who understands That I am strong and weak Wise and silly Happy and sad You are my lover The one who knows All the ways I can say I love you The one who sees in my eyes All there is to see The one I trust and admire The one who has my smell in your skin My taste in your lips And my beat in your heart You are the one Who loves me as I am You are the one I want to find Published in Countless Love Moods, by Lillian Bee
