You Are Not Alone

You are not alone, Never on your own. Every time you cried, God was at your side. In your days of gloom, With that sense of doom. Wondering how you will get by, God will always hear your cry. There have been times in my life, When all seemed so much strife. Not a penny to my name, Don't want to play this game. Feeling so much shame. There are people all around, I cry my heart without a sound. Their lives go on in every way, Are all my fears here to stay. God said, No, I will turn it around, Your chains will be unbound. Just listen to the still, small, voice, Your time is now, I say to you rejoice. God simply says, listen unto Me, My love will make your fears flee. © Dave Timperley November 2020
