You Are My Umbrella
You are my umbrella,
In sun and in rain,
In you I will dwell, my trust;
Like a snail in its shell.
When the siege comes,
And the trouble water pours;
Or the fire becomes wild,
I shall snore and not be afraid.
In my trust I will seek refuge,
Under you I will seek my comfort;
Abide in your faithul promise
To the vanity of my predators.
If I doubt you my confidence
Let me become impotent prey
In the side pouch of my hunters
You are my trust, you are my bet.
I will dare rain, I will dare sun,
My umbrella has no hole.
