You and I
I know not whether we are alive or dead,
nor if the heart bleeds when love is pure,
but I know that when blood is bled,
the blood that's shed is sure...
It is as real, as you or I,
as real as love, or blue is sky,
I know not whether we are alive or dead,
but I am sure of you and I.
