You Affect Me

Like sad music Can move me to tears A cello’s deep Hauntingly beautiful sound Plays my soul with its resonance Like a majestic sunrise over the ocean Infinitive water and sky and fire That brings enigmatic joy to my heart The hope in endless new beginnings The absolute awe of nature You affect me You connect to that deep place in my soul In a way that no one else ever has.
