Yesterday's downtrodden Today are respected and are true. Your yesterday's child Is today, your adult you... So keep this thought before you Until these days to you are old. Thanks Andrea. Yesterday's Yellow Is Today's Gold is a phrase I created myself. But the idea of not underestimating the value of people or things and their potential is a lesson that's seen through the ages. This is the message the poem talks of. The phrase is my translation of that message. Glad you enjoyed the examples :-D
