Yesterday Today and Tomorrow
What did you think of yesterday,
And today, what do you wish to do,
And tomorrow is another day,
Yesterday seems so far away,
Yet today is here to stay,
For tomorrow, what have you to say,
Yesterday you were my singing Jay,
Today you say come what may,
The moon and I heave sad sighs,
Dark clouds loom ahead, I tell no lies,
As my heart yearns and pines,
And the sun no longer shines,
You are my one desire,
You set my heart on fire,
Feel I’m walking on a high wire,
So, take this beauteous flower,
My life, my soul you are my power,
You are my destiny this hour,
Hear me, why did you have to go,
Did you not know,
That only for you, my blood does flow,
You are my yesterday,
Please hear me when I say,
Today I can no longer cry,
For if I live without your love tomorrow,
I will for certain die.
