Yesterday
I wandered into darkness
cause I thought I heard my name.
Once I took my first step
I never was the same.
It's like looking through a window
at a world I used to know.
Feels like only yesterday
even though 'twas long ago.
I left the light behind me
that kept me safe and warm.
Now I'm blindly falling
like a leaf against the storm.
