On July 12, 2021, Sir Richard Branson was the first billionaire to get into space in their own vehicle, beating Amazon's Jeff Bezos and SpaceX's Elon Musk. Branson said the trip was the "experience of a lifetime .... which I dreamt about as a kid.... honestly, nothing can prepare you for the view of Earth from space -- which is just magical."
